Bike lanes are starting to appear in the Town of Yarmouth

The Town of Yarmouth have painted bike lanes on Parade street from Pleasant to Second street as they finish their work that was part of the sewer separation project.

The bike lanes are the first ones of their active living plan. The town Yarmouth says these bike lanes and they work that they are completing on Haley road are steps in the right direction. They are hopping to add more bike lanes to roads that are wide enough to support them.

Beginning Friday November 5, 2021 at 12pm parking or stopping in bike lanes will not be permitted. Signage will be added to reflect this change.
